Bab 1427: Not meant to be

She knew it was a risk from the moment Ren suddenly attacked her. She knew Toh would eventually find out, he watches her far too much for him not to realize. But, she thought she would have more time.

"You're too soft, Queen, you can easily scare him away if you sue your abilities."

Sumire sighs again. "Something tells me even if I put a gun at his head, he won't stop. Even if I burned him, Ren would still tell me he loves me."

Eli chuckled. "You and your toxic relationships."

"Did you really call me to lecture me on my relationships?"

"Not at all, but I had to mention it. Since if you mess up on the job because you're drained of strength it wouldn't look good on you."

"Oh please, I'll be fine. Besides-" Sumire paused when she realized Ren's door was slightly open. She quietly crept inside and the moment she did, she felt lips on hers. Sumire immediately dropped her phone.

"Mmm…Ren, wait a second-"
