'I'll test out his undying ability.'
Annera naturally wanted to abuse Bob's immortality. It was a natural course of action. Now that she knew Bob had that ability, she would make full use of it.
"We still have a lot of things to discuss but let's leave it at that for now." Annera said to Bob.
"Ok... What do I have to do?" Bob was skeptical about what Annera just said.
However, Bob wished to follow Annera's words as she made him feel relief within the outrageous pain he felt earlier. He took a good look at her, only at this time did he realize Annera's beauty.
'She's okay. I guess?'
Bob was not impressed with her facial features. He was able to enjoy beautiful figures to himself for an entire day within the database, so any normal beauty would not impress him.
'But she's an angel.'
Still, Bob felt that Annera was a person with a good heart. And that was all that mattered to Bob.
'Can he also survive a giant's club swing?' Annera had not-so-pure thoughts. 'He won't get thrown into orbit, right?'
They both just stared at each other and never found it to be awkward. They had different thoughts as they continued the staring contest.
'I wonder if her teeth could bite through steel.'
'What's the deal with the chicken?'
"Cluck."
The silence was broken by a single sound. Lavanuk was fed up with the silent conversation they were having. After realizing that they've stared at each other long enough, they stopped.
And at this moment, Annera hunched as her stomach churned.
"I'm sorry." Annera apologized for the shameful display. "I have to go and eat."
"We just ate though?" Bob replied.
"I'm hungry in the real world. So I'm going to eat dinner."
Bob cocked his head.
'Real World?'
He did not understand the thing Annera just said. It was the limit of his knowledge. No, the limit of his understanding.
"Oh yeah. I'll tell you all about it later. For now, wait for me. I should be back after an hour."
"Later?... Okay."
And then Annera became blue light and vanished. The surrounding was noisy but the sudden lack of a familiar voice was deafening him to loneliness.
"Hmmm. I wonder what this means."
Bob did not dwell on the loneliness. He had things to check.

"Ugh."
Bob's held his head in dismay. Throbbing and aching, his head was filled with information that he doesn't understand.
"I already don't understand enough, why am I given more things to not understand?" He complained.
He read through all of the skills and tried to envision what would happen when he used them.
'Hmm. Sugarcoat. Is that the skill those paladins used earlier? Their swords were shining.'
Bob tried his best to recall, but he couldn't.
'What did they do again?'
He was busy killing a werewolf earlier so he could not spare a glance.
"Hey, Bob!" Fera's voice resounded.
"Oh. Hello, Senior Epicurean Fera." Bob stood from his seat and bowed.
Fera frowned upon seeing Bob bowing. However, she didn't say anything and only accepted his greeting.
"I'll lead you to where you will be staying from now on." Fera said.
"Okay!" Bob found a new home.
Fera turned around and walked deeper into the church. Bob did not waste any time and calmly followed after Fera while Lavanuk perched on his shoulder. After exiting the dining area, Bob's vision was filled with a kitchen scene.
"Now that I think about it, you haven't toured the church yet, right?" Fera said as she stopped and looked at Bob.
"Yes. This place is clean. I'm guessing sanitation is important?"
"Of course. Spoiled and defiled food is abhorred in here. Our God, Meteder, hates the act of wasting food."
"It is only right."
Fera turned around continued walking. She smiled as she was satisfied with Bob's reply. She passed through another set of doors and Bob did not fail to follow.
"Hey, Bob. Do you want to meet the chef who cooked the meal you just ate?"
"Would I? Of course!"
"Alright. Here we are."
Fera stopped in front of a door. There was nothing special about the door aside from the fact that it had the word 'Guest' on it. Fera opened the door and revealed who was inside.
"Hmm? Do you not know how to knock?" A voice said in surprise.
"You were expecting us, weren't you?" Fera replied.
The man in the room was sitting on the couch in a very relaxed manner. On a small coffee table, there were cups filled with steaming brown liquid.
"You even prepared tea for us." Fera added.
Without being given permission to be seated, Fera took a seat opposite the man in an imposing manner. She was displaying her grandeur not just to the man, but also to Bob.
"Take a seat, Bob." Fera showed her right palm and directed it at the couch she was seated on. Implying that she wanted Bob to seat beside her.
Bob took a seat. He had a good look at the man before him, which made him feel that something was odd.
"Excuse me, do I know you?" Bob asked.
"You might. I'm quite famous. But I do know of you, Bob." The man replied.
"You do? What is your name sir?"
"I have many names. But you may call me Martel, it's the name I like best."
"Okay. Nice to meet you, Sir Martel."
"I heard about your mother. Well, I was informed because someone suddenly cried bullet tears when they ate the meal I prepared. My condolences."
"Oh. I'm sorry for the trouble." Bob bowed his head in apology.
"You better be."
Martel crossed his arms and pouted. Bob was troubled because he caused the chef some trouble due to the scene he made earlier.
"Nah. I'm just kidding." Martel giggled. He may have a few screws loose to make fun of someone in mourning.
"Meow!"
Suddenly, a cat waltzed in and slowly made its way towards Martel. It was the same white tabby cat from the blacksmith shop, the one that led the werewolves to the blacksmiths.
"Cluck?!"
"Meow Meow."
The cat stopped walking and stared at Lavanuk. Lavanuk jumped off from Bob's shoulder and had a staring contest with the cat. Lavanuk spread and flapped her wings to intimidate the cat.
"Meow meow."
"Cluck.. Cluck?"
The cat was not intimidated. It slowly walked towards Lavanuk in a menacing manner.
"Hoho? Your cat is approaching my chicken? Instead of getting scared by Lavanuk's huge wings, it's walked forward instead." Bob raised his brow and said in amusement.
"My cat can't lick your chicken without getting near." Martel replied.
"Oh? Then let us see what would happen."
"Cluck!"
When the cat got in range, Lavanuk stretched her neck and pecked.
Sizzle~
The cat was suddenly set ablaze.
"Woi!"
