In a rather remote area of Dingtai Town, a strange man suddenly appeared.

He was the very Inspector He who had requested the city lockdown from Magistrate Cao Xingzhi, Inspector He Chang.

At this moment, he was alone, leisurely walking towards a courtyard that appeared vacant due to a haunting.

"Is everything ready?" he asked loudly.

Inside the gate, five men dressed in black simultaneously turned their heads to look at He Chang. After confirming who he was, they all gave a slight nod.

In front of each of these five men, there was a skull. Unlike normal skulls, these seemed to have been soaked in blood, making them appear particularly ghastly.

These skulls were laid out on the ground with tiny black bugs crawling in and out of their holes.

In response to He Chang's question, the black-clothed men didn't speak. Instead, they gestured.

"You all, keep watch outside." He said as he walked.
