Bab 69: Arriving at a Dangerous Area

Darius and Elara's daughter was named Cecile. She had long, black hair and a penetrating gaze. But I think the best thing about her was her personality. Cecile was reserved and didn't speak much, which is exactly what I liked.

The worst thing for me was having to be around people who wouldn't stop talking for a second. I liked having that time to be alone with my thoughts. But of course, during the trip, Cecile and I talked. One reason was that she was very curious about me.

"I'm dying to see your kingdom," she told me, "Is it true that the forests have huge trees? And that the nature is lush and the elves are polite?"

How would I know how to answer that if I'd never been there in the first place? But according to what Jennifer told me, it seemed that the elf kingdom was exactly as Cecile was describing.
