Bab 2065: Revealing The Truth (2)

Gu Xijiu provided enough details to ensure that her story was clear and informative. She used a very plain tone with no decorative language to make sure her message was direct. However, it had created a wave of turmoil in Di Fuyi's heart.

The tea was getting colder, and the falling flowers outside the pavilion had covered the ground where they sat. The flowers fell on Gu Xijiu's robe, her hair, and even her feet. 

Gu Xijiu revealed everything to him. It was as if a huge weight was lifted off her shoulders. Strangely, instead of feeling relieved, she also felt a bit of emptiness somewhere in her heart.

Di Fuyi was an excellent listener, though. He did not interrupt her once during her sharing. After listening to her, he asked her a few questions, and after she answered them, he turned and left.

"You have been looking for him all these years?"
