The male partner frowned in disbelief. "The idea sounds very abstract. How long should we wait for the reincarnation?"

"One's life cannot be reincarnated immediately after death. It will take at least a hundred years," Shen Jiuli answered.

"That is a long time! I am afraid the one who lives will not be able to wait for so long."

Shen Jiuli gave them a sharp look and said, "Your lifespan will be at least a thousand years. The wait of a century is not too much."

The couple said nothing further. The separation for a hundred years seemed unbearable. Moreover, one of them would lose all memories of the other half. Who knew what was going to happen in the future? They were both afraid to die or even to wait. Also, they were worried that all efforts would be fruitless.
