Bab 2293: Departure

She could not stay any longer; hence, she teleported away. The onsen pool had returned to its natural tranquility with Di Fuyi left alone in the water. Her odor seemed to be lingering in the air; however, he knew that she would never come again. 

Despite being calm about everything earlier, he felt that he had lost all his strength as he stood in the water. After a quick reflection, he decided to let the matter go as he knew that she was not interested in him. Nonetheless, it was still heartbreaking to see her leave.
