Gu Xijiu had a noble status now, even young masters from rich families had to bow to greet her if they saw her. Thus, Long Moyan stood up and greeted Gu Xijiu. 

Gu Xijiu was annoyed by these courtesies, hence, she waved and allowed him to be seated. Gu Xijiu had a relatively good impression of Long Moyan. Hence, she decided to stay for a chat. Gu Xietian was very happy with that, and he just excused himself and left them alone at the pavilion after a brief introduction.

Certainly, Gu Xijiu felt helpless and annoyed because she knew it was a date arranged by Gu Xietian. She did not want to entertain him anymore and was about to leave with an excuse. Suddenly, Long Moyan sighed. "National Celestial Master, please allow me to ask this question. Were you forced to come on a date with me?"

Gu Xijiu did not expect him to bring this up. "You're right," said Gu Xijiu as she looked at him.

"You hate it?"

"Certainly."
