Pierre types on his computer, his phone buzzes, he picks up the phone beside the desk, then Ama Tamil's name pops out as Rookie girl.
He picks up the phone then answers the call. "Hello, Ms. Temil?"
"Pierre, are you free tonight? I'll treat you for dinner, and I haven't been to any restaurant since my arrival back to Paris." She slowly speaks.
Being the asshole that he is. "I'm sorry, Ms. Temil, I still have medical class surgeries with the new I.Ts Tonight," his hoarse voice echoes on the phone.
She smiles, not minding his reply. "Don't worry, and I'll make a reservation at Gusto by 6. It couldn't hold up your surgery classes. See you later then." She hangs up.
Pierre exhales. Suddenly, the thought of how Ama told him she's getting married to Lou immediately strokes him, he frowns. He dials Nick's number.
"Hello, Nicky, can you do me a favor... Pouvez-Vous vérifier quelqu'un pour Moi ?"
"Oui," Nicky replied.
"Then I'll leave it to you. Merci"

GUSTO'S RESTAURANT
Pierre was standing outside looking for Ama. Ama saw him from inside then ran out to call him. He was wearing a white sleeve that he folds up to his arm, showcasing his muscular strength through the dress, then a pair of black suit pants that grabs his manly cheeks. His hair was in a bed-style way, and his moonlike eyes hid his sparkles from seeing me.
"Pierre, I am here, this way," she smiles.
Pierre's smile died down immediately. He saw Lou poking his head from the side door with a creepy smile on his face. Lou waves at him. "Doctor Fitz, good evening!"
"Pierre, why are you still standing there? Come over here and sit down," Ama smiles as she makes a hand gesture to Pierre to come to sit.
With the frown still glued to his face, Pierre moved slowly to the chair and sat down at the side while Ama and Lou sat together at the other side, which sent burns to Pierre's face.
Ama giggles at Lou, who is smiling at her. "Pierre, Lou was the one who wanted to treat you out on this dinner date,"
"That's true!" Lou speaks proudly at the man who was fighting his fight of anger.
It shows indifferently how Pierre's facial expression changes and how he speaks and looks at them, but still, it's all part of the game.
Lou clears his throat, resting his arm on the table slightly. "Doctor Fitz, I know you've been treating Ama like your very own daughter..."
This statement suddenly sends anger to Pierre's face. His eyes were in a tight frown. "I treat her like my little sister and not as a daughter!"
"Little sister...?" Ama thought as sadness grabbed her pretty golden face. "Then why didn't you give me the permission to call you big brother then?" She chuckled.
"Oh yes, oh yes, doctor Fitz, for this I have always been very grateful. Ama has been a very good and obedient woman, and you took care of her all these years. However, Doctor Fitz, don't worry, I will take good care of her," Lou smiles proudly.
"Humph... you'll take good care of this girl?" He mockingly says.
"Doctor Fitz, I know you care about Ama, but right now, she's not a kid anymore. She got the right to choose the one she wanted to stay with. "
Hearing this from Lou got Pierre's anger to increase as the hoarse voice echos behind grind teeth. "Girl, do you think that I am forcing you to find happiness?"
"Of course not! You're someone so important to me, and I know you do that for my good," Ama genuinely appreciates Pierre.
"Good that you know... Ama just graduated not close to a year now, and you said you're a real estate agent, which I can't see any evidence about it in you. So what plan do you guys have for the future? Are you both planning to get married without anything?"
It sounds like an approval, which made Ama a bit angry and unorganized.
Does he already approve of us getting married?
"I know that I am not financially buoyant like you are right now, but I assure you that we can both work together hand in hand to make ends meet," Lou sighs.
Pierre frowns once more as his fist slams the table making Ama and Lou flinch in shock. "Do you mean that you want her to suffer with you?"
Lou grabs Ama's arm, looking at each other eyeball to eyeball, not moving the contact from each other. "We love each other, and we are willing to share the burden!"
"Yes, we are willing to share our burden," Ama smiles at Lou, not removing her brown eyes from Lou's.
"NO!" Pierre spat angrily in disapproval. "I disagree with these nonsense conversations... NO...NO...NO I disagree!" He yells at the both of them.
They both flinch in shock. Lou stands up from his sitting position. "Doctor Fitz, why don't you allow me to be with Ama?"
Say it out, don't act anymore, Pierre Fitz... say it that she's yours and nobody can take the Dark skin beauty away from you! Lou's inner gods speak in his thoughts.
Pierre became speechless for a while, then suddenly broke the awkward silence. "Financial situation determines everything, and I won't allow Ama to suffer with you. I promised my father to take care of her."
He groans and continues. "If you want to marry her, show me your capabilities, or else, even if she agrees to marry you, I will still disagree."
His angry brows settled. He picks up the mug of tea as he slowly takes it to his lips, then suddenly pauses. "As for you, think of it very properly. Dating and marriage are two separate things, don't joke with it," he drinks from the mug and slowly puts it down.
"Pierre, I am not joking. I am so serious," Ama holds in herself.
"So, if we are done here," Pierre gets up from the chair, holding his doctors coat on his left arm. "Take your time, and I will excuse myself first." He walks to the door without looking back for a second.
"Pierre...!" Ama sadly calls out his name, but he doesn't want to pudge for a second. He walks out of the restaurant leaving Ama in tragedy.
"What does he mean?" Ama questions Lou, trying to understand what just happened with the conversation they were having.
Lou was sad and speechless, and he felt so sorry for Ama. It's more like they failed in their plan.
"Didn't you say that as long as we pressure him, we can tell what he's thinking from his emotions?" Her voice breaks down in a crack.
"Hmmm..." Lou tries to speak up, but he pauses, trying to find the rightful words to use, but suddenly sees the words he was looking for. "It's okay, Ama, don't worry... we'll think of another way..."
"I hope so!" She adds as tears suddenly find their way falling from her eyes.
Lou holds her shoulders with both his arm for support. "C'mon Ama, don't cry, I'll cry too if you continue with crying away your lashes,"
Her crying increases. "Lou..." she calls out, raising her eyes as her wet lashes were fixed on Lou's pretty face. "Let's get married for real..."
"What the thuck... are you mad? Je préfère mourir que de me marier avec mon Meilleur Ami," he flinched away from the side of Ama.
This made Ama cry harder. "Since your rich crush didn't feel the same way about you and cared about your feelings for her, why don't we heal each other and get married since no one wants us!"
Lou pokes out his lips like a child, looking embarrassed at Ama as he scratches his head. "Please stop saying clingy things like this. Don't let your Cardiologists surgeon works on my fragile and innocent heart with his scalpel..."
"No, he won't!" Ama defends as tears drip from her dark lashes.
"But seriously, did you see his piercing eyes? If they were scalpels, I would have been praying for my heart to pump out healthy blood to escape his scalpel to my chest..." Lou sounds scared for a second.
With heads down, looking exhausted. "He doesn't care about me that much, I am just the girl my mother pleaded to his father to help her take care of me but decided to take me back to Nigeria, but he begged to take me in and take care of me as his sister," she explained as her voice props in pain.
"Not like what you said. I've already recognized this. He does treat me well but not in the way I want him to!" She added.
