Bab 195: Chapter 195: Elif's Demise
Seeing the monster embrace this realm's atmosphere, I internally cursed and begrudgingly regained my balance off of Elaine's body and floated in the air with my ravaged body as I slowly approached the creature.
"Ugh, t-this isn't good; the monster finally entered our realm; what do we do now, Brother?" Asked Elaine with an ugly expression as she grasped Orcus while following beside Elif, only for him to pressure her with his Qi, immobilizing her.
"WE aren't doing anything; I will be facing this monster in combat while you retreat far away to safety. Understand?" Stated Elif angrily as he glared at Elaine, though his words didn't sound very convincing given his state.
"Fight the monster? That creature nearly killed you, Brother! If it weren't for me arriving in time, you'd be dead!" Yelled Elaine angrily while tears threatened to escape her eyes as she looked at Elif, though he promptly ignored her words.
"I don't care what you have to say, Elaine; I'm the older sibling, so that means you must listen to my words. Now, leave this area before things escalate; don't make me repeat myself for a third time." Ordered Elif solemnly as he released Elaine from his suppression and floated towards the monster, only to suddenly grab his chest in pain while nearly falling from the sky.
'D-Dammit, I'm overusing the forbidden technique; it's placing too much strain on my body. J-Just hold out a little longer; you can collapse after Elaine's gotten far enough away.' Thought Elif, breathing heavily as he caught himself in the air while clutching his chest just above his heart.
Taking a deep breath, I ignored the pain throughout my body and stood back up as I focused on the monster, though I looked back to make sure Elaine was gone, and in the distance, I spotted Elaine's figure speedily flying away. Seeing that, I involuntarily released a sigh of relief, but I stopped myself from relaxing, as I knew if I did, I might very well collapse right now, and I couldn't do that, not yet, at least.
Approaching the monster, who was still stabbed with my sword, he finally noticed my presence and displayed a cruel, bloodthirsty smile as he attempted to pressure me with his superior cultivation base; despite resisting his Qi, I was forced toward the ground, no longer able to stay flying.
Crashing into the ground, I firmly planted my feet onto the grass beneath my feet; even with my terrible condition, I refused to kneel; not even at death's door would I kneel, and as I looked at the monster, I found solace in the fact he seemed annoyed reluctance to kneel.
"Tch, why don't you kneel, ELF!" Yelled the purple monster in a deep voice as he eyed Elif while practically roaring in rage, pressuring him with nearly all of his Qi, yet nothing changed; he continued standing while resisting the powerful pressure placed upon his broken and battered body.
"Heh, your attempts are futile; I advise you to give up. you're just wasting our time, and unlike you, my time is rather precious." Remarked Elif with a mocking smirk, one that infuriated the monster to no end as he appeared before Elif and punched him in the face, sending him crashing through the thousands of trees before finally colliding with a large mountain in the distance.
'Ugh, that hurt; pretty sure he broke my jaw and my nose. Tch, bastard, how dare such an ugly creature harm my perfect face.' Mused Elif in anger as he realigned his jaw and nose before exiting from the mountain, though he couldn't get far since the monster suddenly appeared before him.
The monster didn't even give me a chance to speak before grabbing me by the neck and lifting me into the air until we were at eye level, allowing me to stare into his monstrous eyes that were filled with nothing but cruelty and sadism.
"If you're expecting me to beg for my life, think again; I'd rather kill myself than ever beg anyone." Said Elif with a prideful grin, despite being choked to death as he fearless looked into the monster's eyes.
"Hehe; that's what they always say first before they start begging for mercy." Stated the monster with a sinister smile, displaying a mouth filled with sharp teeth as he grabbed Elif's arm and snapped it, though the reaction he got wasn't what he expected.
Feeling a wave of pain rush from my now broken arm, I couldn't help but smile; having my arms broken definitely hurt, but I wasn't going to allow the monster to enjoy torturing me. Followed by my broken arms, he threw me to the ground, and before I could get up, he stopped on both of my legs, crushing the bones inside them; though jokes on him, I could hardly feel my legs to begin with.
"If this is the best you've got, then I'll just kill myself; at least it'll save me from this boredom." Remarked Elif with a mocking smile while yawning, further enraging the monster as he started attacking Elif, though he held back his strength since he didn't want Elif to die.

While Elif was being toyed with by a bloodthirsty demon-turned-Nether monster, someone not too far away was watching everything unfold through her very eyes, filling her with unbridled rage; though despite her soaring rage and potent killing intent, she kept herself concealed as she waited for the right moment to launch assassinate the monster with a one-hit-kill.
However, she wasn't the only one watching the events unfold down below; seven other people were closely watching everything, yet only one of them was rather indifferent to the whole situation, while a few of them were close to being consumed with their own killing intent.

"I'll kill him, I'll kill him, I'll kill him, I'll kill him." Muttered Maria repeatedly like a broken record as she watched the monster brutally torture Elif; her every word laced with such potent killing intent that it started to create a vortex within the void.
While Marcus didn't say anything, his furrowed brows, squinted eyes, and folded arms were enough to give an idea of the rage he felt within; if that wasn't enough, the intense killing intent emitting from his body like a broken dam should also be considered.
"Tyler, after this is over, accompany me to the Nether dimension; there is something I'd like to do there." Said Tiana rather calmly, with a face devoid of emotion as she watched the scene within the heavenly realm.
"What a coincidence; I also had to visit the Nether dimension for something important." Said Tyler with a slight smile, though despite his calm face, his heart pulsed with cold fury at the sight of Elif.
"Maxim, if you're free, would you like to visit the Immortal Demon Sect?" Asked Illumia blandly as she glanced at Maxim with her eyes, which were filled with unbridled wrath.
"If you're asking Illumia, of course, I'll go." Said Maxim with a nod, and although the sight of Elif didn't anger him as much as everyone else since he'd spent the least amount of time with him, that didn't mean he wasn't angry.

Despite being within a mountain, the continuous attacks from the monster were enough to destroy the top half of the mountain, allowing me to view the bright sky. It's been some time since that monster started torturing me, a little over an hour, I'd say; although I say torturing me, he's doing a really pathetic job at it.
'If I could speak, I'd mock him; all he's doing is punching me repeatedly with enough force not to kill me; anyone could do that.' Thought Elif, although he sounded rather fine, it was already a miracle he hadn't died; nearly every bone in his body was broken, every muscle torn, and every organ ruptured; the only thing keeping him alive was his Qi, which would run out eventually.
Looking at the monster, who was sporting an angry expression, most likely at my lack of response to his pathetic torturing, as throughout this entire time, I hadn't voiced a sound, not even so much as a grunt of pain, so other than constantly smirking at him, he's gotten nothing out of me.
'Though it seems like he's finally given up, looks like he's finally going to kill me.' Mused Elif with a raised eyebrow as he watched the demon monster converge a massive amount of Qi in his fist.
"Your own incredible talents were your undoing." Said the monster as he punched toward Elif, though just as he did so, there was a slight fluctuation in the void, followed by Elaine appearing from nowhere with Orcus tightly gripped in her hand.
Seeing Elaine suddenly appear, my eyes widened in shock before I was quickly consumed with anger as I watched her slash toward the monster, her attack displaying strength even superior to what I'm capable of; though in order for her attack to be strong, she must've been preparing her attack for quite some time, which meant she ignored my earlier words. Despite my anger, I hoped Elaine's attack would manage to kill the monster, yet he seemed rather unsurprised by her ambush as he swiftly changed targets from me to Elaine's attack, destroying it with his fist while he used the remaining power to punch Elaine.
'D-Dammit! E-Elaine!' Thought Elif in worry as he watched Elaine get flung in the distance after taking a devastating blow.
"Heh, did you think you were ever concealed from my senses? I'm Celestial while you're just a mere Half-step Celestial!" Stated the monster, looking in the direction Elaine went, vanishing from his spot before reappearing a second later, standing over Elif while holding a bloody Elaine by the neck.
