Asilean and Merr weren't the only ones diving into the exciting world of self-improvement and rigorous training.
Kahglia recuperated from the injuries and fatigue she had acquired during her fight with the Blood Fiend. She hadn't suffered any severe injuries that would leave more than light scars. But she had still pushed herself to and beyond her limit, which was something that didn't happen very often since she trounced others at the same level as her. And when she fought against people who were stronger than her, it was only sparring to train her techniques.
Her father, the Mountain King, wasn't so overprotective that he wouldn't let her experience any kind of danger. But his reputation alone was enough to make sure extremely few offended or seriously tried to injure her. And those that dared to were either disposed of before they could reach her or just wouldn't pose a threat to her.
Took a little bit longer to write this chapter than intended, sorry 'bout that. And it also feels like a lot of details have slipped my mind, so make sure to tell me if there are any inconsistencies :D
Also, I tried to find the place where Toz talked about what I mention in the last paragraphs but I couldn't find it. Did I not write about it?
