Falling, she was falling into an empty abyss
All she felt was coldness, like a blanket being ripped off of her and being exposed to the slicing cold wind. Like having something there, always keeping you warm, always keeping you safe, and then all of a sudden it was gone. Bare and vulnerable is how she felt.
What did she know?
It seemed like nothing. Nothing at all.
Who am I?
A name… her name. It was Eko. Something told her that. She had no idea how she knew that but it was just stuck in her head. That seemed to be the only thing she could recall in the darkness of her mind.
But what else? She couldn't seem to recall anything other than a name. Memories seemed to curl past her. She couldn't see them, but she could feel them. She tried to grab them but they slipped out of her grasp as she tried. She wanted to remember, she wanted to know what was going on. She wanted to know who had done this to her and destroy them.
The silent chaos of falling through the pitch black air kept blowing the memories away from her. Eko shut her eyes but it didn't help much. Who am I?
That question lingered. She wanted so much to know the answer to that question. She decided she would do anything to uncover that answer again, but something told her that it had been a mystery even before all this. Who am I?
I'm Eko.
But who is Eko?
She didn't know that either. Names did not explain anything to her. They were meaningless. She had completely lost her identity. Rage pent up in her stomach.
Yes, she would find who did this to her, who took everything from her and they would pay. They would pay with so much more than just their life.
Alright, so this will definitely be an experiment. I’m not sure how this will turn out but I really hope that I can stay motivated. I look foreword to writing this series
