Lilith City
The city of Lilith, known as the heart of the underworld, was bustling with its usual activity. Its wide, well-paved streets were flanked by imposing buildings, constructed with a dark and majestic architecture that reflected the wealth and power of the noble families residing there. The sky, perpetually dark, was dotted with bright stars, casting a cold light over the city, while magical torches illuminated the avenues with a soft, bluish glow.
Devils of all castes walked the streets, some discussing business, others heading to their commitments. Guards patrolled the gates and squares, their black armor gleaming in the torchlight, vigilant for any sign of disturbance. The city seemed calm, its nocturnal routine flowing normally, with no one suspecting the chaos that was about to be unleashed.
Suddenly, the sky above Lilith began to darken even more, a sinister shadow that seemed to swallow the light of the stars and torches. The devils on the streets started looking up, their eyes wide with surprise and concern.
"Are you seeing this?" one devil asked, his voice trembling slightly as he pointed to the darkening sky.
Before anyone could answer, a terrifying roar echoed through the skies, making the ground shake and the buildings vibrate slightly.
ROOOOOAAAARRR!
The sound was deep and guttural, reverberating through the streets and penetrating the very bones of those nearby. Panic began to spread among the devils, their gazes turning frantically to the sky.
The roar was followed by a terrifying sight: the Evil Dragons, emerging from the dark clouds like incarnate nightmares. Their enormous bodies were covered in black, gleaming scales, and each movement of their gigantic wings created gusts of wind that shook trees and knocked small objects off tables on the streets.
The dragons' fiery eyes glowed with pure, relentless hatred, and their sharp claws sliced through the air with a metallic sound, heralding the death and destruction about to descend upon Lilith.
Panic gripped the devils on the streets. Some ran towards their homes, while others tried to hide in the shadows of alleys. Guards shouted orders, trying to organize a defense, but terror and surprise left many of them paralyzed.
One of the dragons, the largest of all, let out another devastating roar before diving toward the city.
CRAAAAASH!
It hit the ground with tremendous force, causing the earth to tremble violently. The sidewalk was ripped from the ground, and nearby buildings swayed dangerously, cracks forming in their walls. The impact destroyed Lilith's central square, sending debris flying in all directions.
Chaos took hold in an instant. Devils ran in all directions, trying to escape the dragons' fury, as the surrounding buildings began to collapse under the creatures' destructive power.
Another dragon spat out a torrent of black fire, which spread rapidly, engulfing a row of houses and shops. The fire was not just hot; it was an infernal flame that consumed everything in its path, leaving only ashes and destruction. The screams of terror and agony echoed through the streets as the devils desperately tried to flee the carnage.
"Take cover!" shouted one of the guards, his voice almost lost in the roar of the flames and the cries of despair. He tried to rally some of his men, but it was too late. One of the dragons descended upon them, its giant claws slashing through the air and reducing them to mere pieces in a matter of seconds.
SLASH!
The walls of the central mansion, where one of the noble families resided, began to crumble as another dragon charged against it, using its brute strength to carve a path through the solid stone. Inside the mansion, devils tried to defend themselves with magic, but their attacks barely scratched the dragons' scaly skin.
The leaders of Lilith's noble families were in shock, unable to believe the horror unfolding before their eyes. The city, once a symbol of power and stability, was being torn apart in a matter of minutes.
A third dragon, flying low over the narrow streets, let out a deafening roar before unleashing a wave of dark energy that swept everything in its path. The devils who failed to find cover in time were obliterated, their bodies turned to dust by the destructive magic's force.
ZZZZZRAAAAAAAAMM!
The sound of destruction echoed throughout the city. Lilith's streets were now filled with debris, infernal flames, and shattered bodies, as the few survivors desperately tried to find shelter or escape the massacre.
As chaos spread, the Evil Dragons continued their relentless assault, destroying everything in their path. The city of Lilith, once a symbol of order and power, was now on the brink of collapse, consumed by fire and the fury of the dragons sent by Euclid and Rizevim.
Amid the chaos unfolding in Lilith, many devils, desperate, turned to DevilNet, the underworld's social network, to share the horror they were witnessing. Their hands trembled as they tried to type on their devices, their eyes wide with fear as they watched the Evil Dragons ravage the city around them.
"These monsters are destroying everything!" wrote one devil, his post accompanied by a blurry photo of a gigantic dragon crushing a mansion. The image shook with the frantic beat of the author's heart, reflecting the panic in his mind.
"Someone, please, help us!" another devil posted, the message almost illegible due to the typos caused by desperation. He looked around as he typed, hoping to see some sign of salvation, but only more destruction surrounded him.
While some tried to report the attack, others were not so lucky. One devil, who had just posted a cry for help, saw a gigantic shadow approach before being engulfed by a blaze of black fire.
BOOM!
His body was consumed instantly, the screen of his device falling to the ground, still displaying the last message posted: "They're here! It's the end!"
Another devil, hiding behind a destroyed wall, tried to record a live video, his sweaty fingers almost letting the device slip. The video captured the exact moment when one of the dragons devoured a group of devils trying to flee, their screams silenced in an instant.
ZZZZZRAAAAAAAAMM!
The video cut off abruptly as the dragon, noticing the hiding devil, launched a burst of dark energy, disintegrating the wall and the devil himself, leaving only the device fallen to the ground, still broadcasting a black and static screen.
Riser's Mansion - Living Room
In Riser's mansion, the atmosphere was calmly tense. Riser sat in a luxurious armchair, his eyes fixed on the fireplace. The flames danced hypnotically, but his gaze was empty, as if lost in thoughts about the battles he had faced and those yet to come.
Suddenly, the silence was interrupted by the hurried sound of footsteps in the corridor. Ravel, her face pale with worry, rushed into the room, closely followed by Asia. Both were visibly shaken, and Ravel held her device, her eyes wide as she read the news.
"Riser-nii-sama!" Ravel shouted, her voice trembling with urgency. She quickly approached, stopping beside Riser's chair.
Riser slowly stood up, turning to face his sister. "What happened, Ravel?" he asked, his voice firm but with a hint of concern.
Ravel took a deep breath, trying to calm her racing heart. "Lilith is under attack... there are dragons... They're destroying everything!" The words came out in a rush, reflecting the desperation she felt.
Asia, standing beside Ravel, looked equally frightened. She pressed her hands against her chest, her eyes glistening with unshed tears. "We need to do something, Riser-sama," she said, her voice low and urgent.
Riser frowned, his gaze hardening as he heard the news. He knew Lilith was one of the underworld's pillars, and its destruction would be a devastating blow.
Without saying a word, Riser stepped forward, his eyes now shining with determination. A magic circle began to form under his feet, illuminating the room with an intense glow.
"I'm going to Lilith now," Riser said, his voice carrying an unquestionable authority. He looked at Ravel and Asia, his eyes softening for a moment. "Stay here and take care of the mansion. I'll return as soon as possible."
Before either of them could respond, the magic circle glowed even brighter, and in an instant, Riser vanished, leaving only the echo of his words and the residual glow of the teleportation in the room.
After Riser had disappeared in his teleportation, Ravel turned to Asia, who was still visibly shaken.
"Asia," Ravel began, her voice gentle but firm as she stepped towards her friend. She took Asia's hands in hers, trying to offer immediate comfort. "You can stop crying. My brother will take care of everything."
Asia looked up, meeting Ravel's determined eyes. Ravel's words carried a certainty that Asia wished she could feel. The fear still gripped her heart, but seeing Ravel's unwavering confidence brought her a sense of calm.
"Riser-nii-sama is strong," Ravel continued, her voice taking on a more reassuring tone. "He's faced terrible things before and always came out victorious. Lilith is in good hands now."
Asia took a deep breath, feeling the tightness in her chest lessen a bit.
"You're right, Ravel," Asia said, her voice still soft but firmer than before. "Riser-sama will protect everyone."
Ravel nodded, squeezing Asia's hands in a gesture of support. "Yes, he will. And while he's there, we need to keep everything in order here."
