Bab 177: The Battle of Chaos

The members of the notorious Firework Grass Society lunged through the storm of bullets fired by Kody Smith's revolver and Tsubomi Bakudou's roaring gatling gun, their swords gleaming with intent.

Kody's golden clockwork revolver—a favorite of his recent creations—was as much a work of art as a weapon. As an advocate for unique design, Kody believed a weapon without personality was not worth wielding. His revolver boasted a peculiar feature that made it a nightmare for enemies.

"He's out of ammo!" one of the Society members shouted, emboldened by Kody's apparent disadvantage.

Indeed, Kody's revolver operated with a visible six-shot chamber, and the time-consuming reload process gave their opponents a clear window to attack. Three students charged him with blades ready, a mix of personal vendettas and envy fueling their assault.

"You and your 'elite' attitude piss me off, Smith!" one snarled.

"Just a spoiled trust-fund brat!" another spat.
