Bab 262: Terrifying Demoness

A shower of black blood poured from the sky, painting the scene with dark and macabre hues. Ruri and the whale, still incredulous, witnessed the carnage below, aware that the dazzling figure was indeed Calirer.

She faced alone an army of thousands, a look of insanity painted on her face. Despite the distorted expression, the destroyed clan walls were behind her. Instead of advancing, she remained still, attacking explosively and thunderously, unleashing abnormal power that repelled the enemies with overwhelming force.

Inside the clan, on the ground, mountains of bodies formed a tragic testimony to the battle. A few hundred surviving half-demons remained, completely wounded and without any remaining QI. They held their weapons precariously, looking forward as if they were close to taking their last breath. But in their eyes, there was no despair. They had a conviction... or irrational faith that something... round and fat would arrive.
