Gohan was beat up. A black eye, abrasions all over his body, and yet he stood there in front of the fire with a large piece of meat over it. "I wonder what mom's doing." He pondered the thought of his worried mother.
[Back at Chi Chi's house]
"RAAAAAAAAGH!!" Spit scattered the area like a meteor shower. Her loud voice pierced the heavens and shook the earth.
"So you're telling me that you know where son is right now, but you won't tell me, his mother of his whereabouts?" Chi Chi's bipolar ass was on the edge of her seat tapping the floor fast as fuck out of pure anger and frustration.
"Yeah, that's exactly what I'm saying." Davion held a tea cup elegantly. He brought it to his lips and took a sip of the hot yet tasty tea Chi Chi made.
"You….YOU….I swear to Kami." She slammed her hands on the table while staring Davion down. "If you don't tell me where my son is SO HELP ME I-"
"You'll what?" He put the tea cup down on the saucer. "Goku's dead. No one on earth could even come close to me other than the girl beside me." Shoena sat there eating the food prepared for them without a care in the world.
"But you can guess how far you'd get trying to get her on your side."
Chi Chi growled lightly.
"Simply put, you're too weak to do anything. You're a mother that can't even protect her child but you're a so called martial artist. Heh, my brother's taste in women is awful." No matter how he saw it, Davion was biologically related to Goku. Physically and mentally he'd be older than Goku because of Raditz's memories but spiritually, Goku is older.
With anger fueling her, the actions she portrayed was nothing but violent. Feelings controlled her and an open hand crossed Davion's face but was stuck at his cheek. "Is that all? Are you happy now that you've hit me?" His eyes were cold and it only angered Chi Chi even more.
"See, you aren't even mad at me. You're mad at your powerlessness." He stood up, easily towering over Chi Chi.
"You weren't strong enough to save your husband and you weren't strong enough to save your son." Quickly, her anger died down. It was converting over to fear and anxiety.
"And now you sit in this house helpless, lonely, and depressed. Don't you think that's pathetic? Do you think just sitting at home and preparing meals, awaiting for the arrival of your beloved Goku would change anything?" Davion was ruthless yet sharp with his tongue, cutting through the toughest of metals.
"I will admit that you are strong willed but that's not gonna help your child is it."
"I-Is that all you came here to do?!"
"Yes, I came here to mock and inform you of your weakness. I dislike the idea of a woman prancing around without actually having good qualities other than giving birth and cooking. But loves to complain."
"You act like you know me."
A loud gulp came from Shoena. "I said that same thing to him but he has a knack for seeing through people."
"I'm surprised you haven't told us to leave yet. Is it because you already know of how weak you are without your beloved husband? It isn't like anyone else would tell you that. So I have a suggestion."
"I don't care for what you have to say. Just leave already." Weakly, her voice started to tremble slowly.
"Well, if I don't tell you, then you won't know where Gohan is."
She went absolutely quiet.
"Thank you, your silence was enough. Now." He sat back down and grabbed a hold of his tea cup. "I suggest you get back into martial arts. Train for the sake of protecting your family. If you truly love Goku and Gohan, then you should put your life on the line for them and not be a burden." He sipped his tea.
"Ah, all that talking made the tea go cold."
Shoena burped with a full stomach. "Cho Cho, you have a superb talent in the culinary arts." She laid back against her chair.
"….." Chi Chi was speechless. Nothing she'd say or do would change the current turn of events. As usual, she was powerless.
"That's one thing I hate about most humans. They complain about a problem but never give a solution. Isn't that exhausting?" He finished his tea and placed the cup on the saucer.
"Now, of course, regular training isn't going to help you become strong enough to protect Gohan. As he is right now, he'd probably give his father a run for his money." He was surely bluffing.
"So I'll have to train you myself. I'd have Shoena as your training partner but, she's…."
Her hair was brought past her chin by her fingertips. She looked messy with stains on her shirt and face.
"A wild bitch."
Davion felt a glare stab his side after that comment.
"Are you done with this pretentious act of villainy?" Shoena asked. Her eyes were made of daggers that stabbed into Davion's soul.
"Yeah, I'm done fuckin around wit her." He stood up and Shoena followed.
"I ordered some heavy ass clothing so yo ass better put nem bitches on when I give it to yo ass."
"Fare well, Chi Chi." Shoena waved Gohan's mother goodbye.
Like a phoenix who lost their egg, the woman was left alone in the empty husk she called a home.
[Outside Chi Chi's House]
"Do you not think your wording was plenty rude enough? Why revert to your barbaric mannerisms?" Shoena asked.
"Why you sound like you gon smack me wit a glove or sum shit? Ole medieval ass oh"
"HEARYEE HEARYEE!!" He replicates a British accent. "Soundin ass."
"I-I do not sound like that."
"Yes the fuck you do." He went back to the British accent. "THY LORD SHAN'T BE BEQUEATHED!! FOR THOU HEADETH SHALL ROLL!!"
"I DO NOT SOUND LIKE THAT!!"
"Yellin don't make you right. That's how you sound fuh real. Everyone gotta way of Speakin. This is just how I speak. I do this whenever I feel like it."
Tomorrow was the start and introduction to a new member to the Z fighters. Is this a test of Chi Chi's resolve?
