He immediately divided his army into ten teams and pursued the different cavalry squads.

In the general's mind, he had no concern that this was a ploy or trick by the Heaven Kings. 

After all, they knew the exact strength of Heaven Kings' forces, and it was impossible for them to have any extra troops to set up an ambush.

The general chose one of the cavalry squads, taking a hundred subordinates to chase after them. 

Seeing the fleeing cavalry ahead without even looking back, the general was furious and shouted, "Cowards of Heaven Kings! All you know is running away? Dare to stop and fight!?"
