Chapter 32: I'll Help You
As an auxiliary spirit master with minimal combat ability, Ning Rongrong was powerless against Dai Mubai's attack. If Dai Mubai's strike landed, she risked serious injury or worse.
In his rage, Dai Mubai was determined to punish Ning Rongrong, ignoring any potential repercussions.
However, his arm was suddenly seized by someone.
Qi Ling appeared behind Dai Mubai without warning and firmly grasped his arm.
"Mubai, enough,we're all classmates, and Ning Rongrong is already injured!"
"Let go of me! This woman insulted me, and I have to deal with her!" Dai Mubai's anger was now directed at Qi Ling, ignoring Qi Ling's intervention.
"Oh? And what about me?" Qi Ling's voice was cold and menacing.

When Dai Mubai calmed down, he realised Qi Ling had restrained him without using his martial spirit.
This demonstrated that Qi Ling was not just stronger in terms of realm but could suppress him without even using soul power.
Feeling humiliated and defeated, Dai Mubai acknowledged that he had lost face today.
He had ignored Zhu Zhuqing and mistreated the girls.
"Ma Hongjun, are you here?" Dai Mubai asked resignedly. "I'm heading to Honghua Street,are you coming?"
Ma Hongjun hesitated but eventually said, "Mubai, wait for me.
I'll come right away!"
After Dai Mubai left, Xiao Wu and Tang San took Zhu Zhuqing to rest while the others attended to Ning Rongrong's injuries.
The shockwave from Dai Mubai's White Tiger Martial Spirit had caused Ning Rongrong internal damage, making her spit up blood.
What angered Ning Rongrong most was her own helplessness against Dai Mubai.
After leaving her family, she felt vulnerable.
Additionally, Dai Mubai's disrespectful language had deeply offended her.

"Tang San, help me get revenge! Use those special weapons of yours!" Ning Rongrong demanded angrily.
"If you help me, I'll make you an honoured guest of the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School and offer you unconditional support!"
"I can offer you money and anything else you want, even a soul bone! Just help me take revenge!"
Tang San, reflecting on his past impressions of her, replied, "Ning Rongrong, not everything in this world can be bought with money and power."
Seeing Tang San's refusal, Ning Rongrong turned to Oscar. "Oscar, will you help me? I can offer you the same conditions!"
Oscar sighed and said, "Though I'm poor and humble, I have some integrity.
Ning Rongrong, you should handle this yourself!"
"I once thought you were my ideal because you seemed so kind and lovely when we first met.
But now I see I was wrong,your appearance was deceiving; you're just a devil inside."
After Tang San and Oscar left, Ning Rongrong bit her lip and, after a long silence, turned to Qi Ling.
"Do you also look down on me? Do you think I'm at fault?"
"No, I don't think you're at fault!" Qi Ling surprised Ning Rongrong with his response.
"This incident is clearly Dai Mubai's fault,It's just that Xiao San and the others have prejudices against you, so they can't see the essence of the situation."
"But!" Qi Ling continued before Ning Rongrong could speak, "Rongrong, you are at fault too.
You shouldn't rely on the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile School for support."
"Have you forgotten what I told you? To achieve something, you have to earn it yourself."

Seeing Ning Rongrong cry so sorrowfully, Qi Ling's heart softened.

"Really?" Ning Rongrong stopped crying and asked, "You're not lying to me?"

Teaching Dai Mubai a lesson is easy, and it's important for him to learn to respect women," Qi Ling said.
"Haha, then it's settled! You have to help me!" Ning Rongrong said with renewed determination.
Qi Ling looked at her with a hint of amusement.
"You really are a little witch!" he said.
"But although I promised to help, there are conditions."
"Conditions? What are they?" Ning Rongrong asked.
"It's simple.
I'll help you get revenge, but I need compensation.
My request is straightforward,one hundred gold soul coins!" Qi Ling said with a smile.
"One hundred gold soul coins? That's nothing! I'll give you even ten thousand if you want," Ning Rongrong replied eagerly, but Qi Ling interrupted her.
"Rongrong, I did say you shouldn't rely on your family but on yourself, right?" Qi Ling said.
"I want the money you earn yourself for those hundred gold soul coins."
"But, but I haven't done anything yet, so I don't know how to make money!" Ning Rongrong protested, feeling overwhelmed compared to others at Shrek Academy.
"Haha, don't worry. I'll teach you how to make money.
You just need to follow me tomorrow!" Qi Ling said with a smile.
"Now, you need to go back and rest.
Get your body in the best condition!"
"Okay,Your blood is unstable, so don't overexert yourself today." Qi Ling handed her a medicine.
"Take this when you get back and go to bed early."
As Qi Ling walked away, Ning Rongrong made a face at him and muttered, "Such a money-grubber! He wouldn't even spare a hundred gold soul coins! Am I not worth even that much?"
But holding the medicine in her hand, Ning Rongrong felt an indescribable emotion rise within her.
A smile appeared on her face despite herself.
