After Akuma's little speech, he had to go with wulin and Xie Xie to the classroom. They were going to compete in the class promotion contest. After Teacher Wu finished the explanation, Akuma got grilled by teacher Wu for acting arrogant. 'I wasn't even acting arrogant I was saying what my heart wanted to say. Hmph, if I wanted to be arrogant, I would destroy the person fighting spirit first. Their mentality about the world around them makes them feel like an ant then….' Akuma quickly thought of several ways to make someone mentally break down and be arrogant.
After thinking for a while, he didn't notice that everyone had left the room, and it was already dark outside. Getting out of his thoughts, he looked around. "What the fuck? Why is it dark outside? And where did everyone go?" Akuma said, scratching his head.
Akuma walked outside and jumped onto the same tree branch in the academy he was on the other night. He then took out the sketchbook that his mother had given him. He started drawing again. But instead of a regular sketch, every page was a number. 'Memory 1', 'memory 2', and so on. The book was filled with drawing of Akuma's memories of his mother.
He did this so he would never forget them. Akuma then walked into the small forest the academy had. He went from tree to tree, liking the freedom it gave him. He stopped on the tree sensing someone several meters ahead of himself on the ground. He kept going in said direction till he saw a girl with beautiful violet eyes, long black hair pulled up into ponytails, and a cute blue dress. He silently watched the person from up in the trees, but a fireball headed straight for him. He was dogged, not wanting to get his clothes burnt off.
"Who are you? "She asked, looking at the boys back in front of her. Akuma then turned around and looked at the girl. But it was too late. The damage was done the moment their eyes met.
They stared at each other as violet eyes met crimson ones; they didn't say anything till Akuma nervously said. "Sorry about that. I was around the area and sensed someone around here, so I went to check it out. I'm Li Akuma, you can just call me Akuma." Akuma said, scratching his head nervously. 'Hold up, why am I nervous? I haven't been nervous since that day.'
The girl looked at Akuma and felt her cheeks get pink. "I'm Gu Yue. I arrived late for the registration period, so I'm sleeping here till I can ask a teacher to let me join their class." Gu Yue said while also looking a bit nervous.
"So, you decided to stay in a forest?" Akuma questioned if he was hearing this right. "Yes," she said blankly, and Akuma struggled not to laugh. "But there's a hotel like right next to the academy," Akuma questioned
"I'm broke. Someone stole my money," Gu Yue said, and Akuma couldn't help but laugh now. "Hehehe, that's hilarious!" Akuma started to fall on his knees, laughing. A tick mark appeared on Gu Yuen's head "you jerk!" She yelled as she kicked him in his head, but her foot hurt. "Hey, you violent women! Why did you kick me in the head!" Akuma said, getting up off the ground.
"Oww! What is your head made of? That hurt! Why am I the one that's hurting? I kicked you! What are you made of!" Gu Yue said, rubbing her foot. "Ch serves you right for kicking me." They both stood in silence as they both glared at each other before they both ended up smiling for a moment before Akuma spoke.
"Relax, I'll give you some money to stay at a hotel for the night," Akuma said that 10,000 federation dollars fell out of his storage ring.
"Here, this should be enough to stay at a good hotel for a night," Akuma said and handed the money to Gue Yu. She took the cash quickly and borrowed her eyes "what do you want in return." Akuma was stunned by that question. He was giving her the money because he felt terrible for her, which made him feel something he hadn't in a long time.
"I don't want anything in return," Akuma said as he started to walk away, but a hand grabbed his. "No, I won't accept it. What do you want? I swear I'll get it for you in the future. I don't like owing people," she said, determined.
Akuma turned around. "Ok, I want more money, but since you're broke, I guess that's a deal, braker," Akuma teased, and she huffed out. What were the things he truly wanted? He only wanted the opportunity to say sorry to his mom and kill the bastards who killed his mother.
"You can't give me what I want," Akuma said as he turned around again. But Gu Yue still held his hand. "I can get it. Just say it!" She demanded
Akuma turned around, and his eyes were colder than earlier "then bring me the bastard's heads who killed my mother." Akuma said with his white teeth grinding on each other. Gu Yue's eyes widened before she let go of Akuma's hand. "Sorry," she said in a low voice feeling bad about the whole situation. Akuma realized what he said and cursed at himself for bringing that up; no one knows what happened to his mother except mangtian.
"It's not your fault, I know what it's like not to want to owe anybody, but there are still good people in the world. Take my kindness; you don't owe me anything," Akuma said with a kind gaze that could make any girl fall in love with him. Gu Yue's cheeks heated up. "Thank you," she said with a slight bow.
Akuma waved his hand and started to walk away. "If you need a class to join. Join class five. There is the best teacher. And we could use another strong person like yourself for the class competition," Akuma said, jumping on a tree and disappearing into the woods. He didn't know why he invited her, but he liked the vibe she was giving off; they didn't need another teammate with his strength.
Gu Yue then Thought to herself, 'there are still good people in this world? I wish everyone held the same sentiment towards spirit beasts.'
