If the universe was perceived as having the shape of a membrane, there might be an endless number of membranes in the same metric dimension. In other words, infinitely many universes. The distance between these universes could not be measured in human units, but their distribution was quantized.

Prior to seeing "Yolanda," Yadiel still had a glimmer of hope. How he wished it was all just an incomprehensible bug in the system and his Yolanda was still there waiting for him. However, when the woman in the hologram materialized before him, he oddly calmed down.

"Who are you? What are you doing in the archives?" The "Yolanda" in this parallel universe looked at Yadiel warily.
