Sirzechs hadn't seen his little sister in a while, but other than reporting this new Pawn that Rias had gotten, Grayfia had said everything was normal. The Satan was beginning to think he and his wife needed to have a chat with what constituted as normal. Glancing to his side where his sister sat with her legs crossed and her hands in her lap, he saw a look of pure, unadulterated joy on her face.
But then, he supposed the view was something Rias appreciated greatly. Turning his own gaze back down to the rating game below, he pressed his lips tightly together as the newest member of Rias' peerage once again caused Riser Phenex to regenerate. This made for the tenth time and it was clear to most of the onlookers that Riser was beginning to flag.
All around the two men, Riser's peerage was either on their backs or on their knees. Issei Hyoudou had taken them all out fairly early on with some sort of aura effect that the spells warding the rating game had kept back. Whatever he'd done had disabled all of Riser's pawns as well as two his bishops. It had also greatly weakened his knights, rooks, and Queen.
A single strike to each of them from Issei had finished those last five pieces off as well and then the fight they were still watching now had begun with an enraged Riser launching himself towards his foe, only to be put down in the dirt just as easily. There went the eleventh and twelfth regenerations in quick succession. Riser didn't look like he could possibly last much longer, but the young devil was still standing, albeit swaying back and forth on his feet like a drunken sailor.
There were words being exchanged between the two of them, but audio had been disabled for this rating game. Sirzechs couldn't help wondering why that had been a condition, but there it was. He glanced suspiciously at his happy little sister. She'd been keeping secrets from him. More than that, somehow she'd managed to pull one over on Grayfia. THAT was a feat. Still, it looked like both he and Rias would be getting what they wanted today. Her freedom from that irritating marriage contract was finally at hand.
And there it went. Riser went down onto his knees and this time he didn't regenerate. Issei seemed to understand he was done, because the young man simply smirked down at his defeated foe, said something, and then pointed at Riser's Queen and one of his Bishops. There was an outburst from Riser, even as Yubelluna and Ravel slowly rose from their places on the ground, Ravel from her knees and Yubelluna from her belly where Issei had left her face down in the dirt.
Issei just laughed and said something in response to Riser's outburst as the two women slowly approached and stood by Issei. Each of them said something to the Phenex boy as well and ultimately Riser slumped down again, his eyes downcast as he shied away from looking at the devil that had beaten him so easily. Sirzechs furrowed his brow, leaning forward to peer more closely at the looks on the faces of the women that now stood on either side of Rias' Pawn. He couldn't quite read the myriad of emotions from here. Issei turned around and began to leave the arena, and the two of them followed, promptly a light giggle from his little sister.
Sirzechs turned to regard Rias as she tittered behind her hand.
"I'm not sure I understand Rias. What was this exchange?"
Rias' eyes twinkled as she looked to her older brother with a victorious smile.
"There was a bit of an addition to the deal between Rise and I made at the last second. He agreed that if Issei could beat him and his peerage alone, I would get to choose two of his peerage to join my own."
Sirzechs frowned at that, even as the rating game officially ended and Rias stood, no doubt intending to head down to the facility set aside for the transfer of such things. The entire bit down on the arena floor had been symbolic then, rather than the actual trade. After all, Riser would need to reclaim his pieces from his sister and his Queen and Rias would need to give them her own pieces. Still…
"And you allowed your Pawn to make that choice."
It was not a question, but a statement of fact. Rias answered anyways, having stepped away but for this, turning back as she regarded her older brother with a strange smile.
"Of course. I trust Issei with my life. It would be silly for me not to trust him with this as well."
And then she was gone and Sirzechs was left alone in the small observation box he'd reserved for the two of them upon finding out Rias wouldn't actually be participating in the rating game. As she descended the stairs, Sirzechs stayed seated, a single tear falling from his eye as he pulled out a small flip book of photos of his baby sister at all stages of his life. There was a smile on his face, even as he cried.
His little sister was all grown up… but even if she'd managed to escape a loveless marriage today, it was now clear to him that she'd found the man she wanted to be with all the same in this new Pawn of hers. This… Issei Hyoudou had stolen his Rias' heart. Sirzechs was both sad and happy for her, and he wished Rias the best in her pursuit of the boy. He was certainly strong enough to protect her at least.
… If only Sirzechs had known the true nature of Issei's relationship with Rias. If only he'd known the true nature of Issei's relationship with his OWN wife. But alas, even the mighty and powerful are not omnipotent or omniscient. And with how much Sirzechs depended on his darling wife/maid/Queen (not necessarily in that order, at least in her eyes) for information of this nature, he was going to stay in the dark for a long time to come.

Ravel worried at her lower lip as she knelt in the center of the room, her brother's former Queen at her side. Both of them had effectively been traded and while she'd simple gone from being Riser's Bishop to Rias Gremory's Bishop, Yubelluna had taken a bit of a downgrade, forced to become Rias' Rook, as the Queen piece was already taken.
If the buxom, purple haired beauty was affected by this at all, she didn't really show it. Instead, Yubelluna was acting a lot like Ravel right now, nervous and excited and aroused. It was hard for the beautiful blonde girl to admit it, but she was definitely aroused. She'd been aroused, wet, since the moment she laid eyes on Issei Hyoudou. When he'd then unleashed a fragment of his aura on her and everyone else in the arena, she'd been unable to help herself, falling to her knees and nearly climaxing on the spot.
A few of Riser's Pawns actually HAD climaxed, embarrassing enough. After that, the fight was already over and though Riser didn't seem to understand that, Ravel knew immediately. Issei Hyoudou was something else. He definitely wasn't just anyone's Pawn. He was so much more than that. It made it easy for her (and for Yubelluna too she believed) to stand up and go to the young man when he pointed at the two of them.
The words that she'd spoken to her brother were short, mostly because Riser was far more upset about Issei's choice of Yubelluna than he was about the fact that he'd lost his little sister in a damn wager. Apparently, her brother hadn't thought his Queen was in any danger of being taken, simply because Rias already had a Queen.
In the end, he'd been proven oh so wrong and Yubelluna's words to him had been… Ravel shuddered a bit, not wanting to revisit that. She'd been mad at her brother, but the purple haired bombshell of a woman had been positively vicious in her verbal destruction of the defeated pureblood devil. And now here they were, alone… with their conqueror.
Issei Hyoudou stood before the two of them as they kneeled there on the floor in front of him. After everything was all said and done and they were officially members of Rias' peerage, the Gremory Heiress had simply passed them off to Issei and told them in no uncertain terms that regardless of their chess piece, they were to obey him in all things, unconditionally.
There'd been no protest there, but it was still just a little embarrassing, being essentially handed over like a prize to a young man who only rated as a Pawn. Even if he was handsome as hell, and somehow powerful enough to bring them all down, including Riser repeatedly. Of course, more than her embarrassment over that, Ravel was left feeling a little… inadequate.
Putting her right next to a fully matured woman like Yubelluna was incredibly unfair in Ravel's silent opinion. How the hell was she supposed to compete with someone like that? She was sure, even if she didn't dare look up to find out that Issei's eyes were probably drifting over to the purple haired beauty nonstop. She-
"I assume you two know why you're here in my bedroom. If it's not obvious by now though, Rias' peerage operates a little differently than what one might expect. Officially, I am Rias' Pawn. All eight of them in fact. But unofficially, I am the Red Dragon Emperor. Rias answers to me, as does Sona Sitri. And now, the two of you do as well. Don't you?"
