Bab 189: Buck naked

The sun set just moments ago.

So, pretty dark.

But-

Kitty and I still trudged through the forests.

We'd been here before. 

When we first started our journey.

Back then, our village started off as just a small settlement. But these days this city was literally the heart of the continent just like I'd envisioned. 

Of course, none of this would have been possible without the people I had by my side and the connections I'd made along the way. And certainly not without the system.

'But what about me without the system?'

I was the so-called apostle of death. I was the emperor of Vestia.

But take out the system out of me and what was left?

Had I grown?

Had I changed?

Was anything different?

I wasn't sure.

"Maw-"

At the very entrance of the west forest- we felt something.

Something different.
