"William Cole, stop spouting nonsense."

Elder Witt reprimanded William sternly.

Mrs. Cole also chimed in: "It's just a matter of treating an illness; it's okay even if the treatment fails."

"Why make such a huge promise? Quickly take back your words."

"Mother, Lord Cole is known for his words as heavy as nine tripods; how can he easily take back what he's said?" Kirk Cole wore a faint smile on his face, then turned to William, "Lord Cole, isn't that right?"

"Young Master Cole is correct."

William shrugged, "If I cannot cure Mrs. Cole's illness, I will immediately renounce my title as Patriarch."

"Great! That's very bold of you!" Kirk exclaimed, offering more words of praise.

"Mrs. Cole, will you allow me to treat you now?" William did not waste any more words and came forward with the medicinal soup in a wooden bucket.

Seeing William's confidence, Mrs. Cole refrained from speaking a word, simply giving a slight nod of approval.
