Bab 75: Mythical beast and trouble.

*Swoosh, swoosh* –

The sound of wings flipping surrounded Alex from all sides, emanating from only one creature.

The eagle in front of him was a miniature version of the beast he had seen in his vision: white-headed, with a pointy beak, a brown body, and a long, elongated feather tail.

It had bright yellow eyes, surveying its newfound world where it had just been born.

The creature flew toward Alex and landed on his shoulder, its two muscular four thumb limbs with sharp claws tightly gripping Alex's muscle.

The strength alone in that grip was praiseworthy.

But Alex knew that wasn't all; after all, the creature sitting on his shoulder was a descendant of a mythical beast possessing special abilities.

Alex knew about the abilities and characteristics of the mythical beast because he had inherited the information during the binding ritual.
