Bab 62: Date

"Hmhmhmm...Morning in Ponyville Shimmers...Morning in Ponyville Shines..Na nanana nana nana uhh..That everything is certainly right..."Starfall was trotting through the snowy Ponyville while humming a song, clearly in good humour thanks to the surprise wake up he received from Twilight.
Despite the cold weather, the sky was clear and sunny, perfect for the date that he was planning for Pinkie Pie.
His eyes darted over the trees in the surroundings and he couldn't help but notice the small leaf buds on the branches almost ready to burst open. Spring was already close by it seemed...
//I had to change the order of the events a bit, if you didn't realize it yet, because it made no sense in my head, so winter wrap up is now AFTER Fall instead of two episodes before XD//
"...can things ever go wrong...I don't think that they will..." He continued to hum in his way to the Sugarcube Corner. It might not have been stated too often, but singing in Equestria was much more prevalent than in his past life, and while he personally wasn't one to often join the girls in their songs, that didn't mean he wasn't capable of it, and he already noticed that the girls loved his singing even if he personally felt rather embarrassed doing so with a public...
But when he was alone...Yeah... Singing under the shower was just the tip of the iceberg, because Starfall was secretly trying to recreate the music of his past life, and having memory spells and access to the dream realm only made this endeavour easier...
"...And I know for absolute certain...that everything is certainly-"
"Hia Starfall!!!" Suddenly his humming was interrupted by Pinkie Pie who startled Starfall by appearing out of nowhere.
"Wha!? Oh. It's you Pinkie... I was just going to get you." Starfall said after calming down and smiling at the excited mare who was almost bouncing in joy.
"Oh! I know! But I just couldn't wait anymore when I saw you through the window and heard your amazing voice! Why do you always refuse to sing with us? I remember how you sang with me when we met those scary trees while looking for the Elements of Harmony! You were so great! And even here! I don't know what song it was but I just wanted to hum along with you as soon as I heard it!" Said the Pink pony in a single breath and Starfall had to put a hoof on her muzzle to make her stop talking.
"Take it easy Pinkie. I'm just not one to suddenly start singing in the middle of the street haha. But...If you want we can sing something together when we are one." He winked and Pinkie's face instantly brightened.
"Yes! I'm gonna sing with Starfall!" She exclaimed excitedly as Starfall dragged Pinkie Pie towards the park where a bunch of young Fillies and colts were in the process of building a giant snowpony beside a frozen Lake...
Starfall used his magic to help the children set the overly large snowball as top the even larger one to which he received a lot of happy cheers before dragging Pinkie towards the lake and transfiguring some snow into two set of ice skates to which Pinkie clearly approved as before he had time to explain, the Pink pony was already skating on the ice like a real pro.
Starfall himself wasn't really that talented when it came to ice skating but he knew that Pinkie was a totally different matter and she clearly enjoyed the activity very much, judging by the large smile adorning her face...
"Hay wait for me! I'm not as good as you Pinkie!" he called only for Pinkie to appear beside him and drag him onto the ice making him laugh.
What followed were at least two hours of fun as Pinkie tried to teach Starfall how to do more than move forward and turn...They had a lot of fun and were slowly freezing, so Pinkie decided to be the one who brought him home this time, as she lived basically above the Sugarcube Corner which was their next destination anyway...
The duo arrived at the bakery where she instantly ordered hot chocolate with marshmallows and a bunch of different cakes and treats...
It was a pleasant evening as the duo chatted openly about different topics while eating delicious sweets provided by the Cake couple, and despite Pinkie having a discount for being an employee, Starfall managed to pay for everything anyway stating that as a Stallion and as a de facto prince, It just wouldn't do for him not to pay during a date with a lovely mare.
That his words caused Pinkie Pie to turn even redder than her usual pink colouration, only showed that despite how she behaves, Pinkie is still a girl, who likes compliments and blushes when being flirted with...
"Ahahaa look husband! I didn't know our Pinkie could become so red! haha!" Laughed Mrs. Cake seeing Pinkie's embarrassment.
"Ay! Indeed! Seems like she finally found herself that special somepony who can take on that temperament of hers. Haha!" Joked Mr. Cake causing Pinkie Pie to blush even harder.
"Alright haha! Let's not torture our beloved Party Pony anymore, darling." Said Mrs. Cake as she opened the way for the two Ponies to walk up the stairs towards Pinkie's apartment.
As they were about to pass though she leaned over towards Pinkie and whispered into her ear.
"I hope you have some protection Dear." She said, causing Pinkie Pie to turn completely red as she dashed up the stairs leaving Starfall looking after her funnily.
He glanced at Mrs. Cake and seeing her amused expression, guessed more or less what happened before giving her a last parting word and going up the stairs to find Pinkie...
