Bab 299: 299: The golden aura

"Emperor, are you sure about this? You will exhaust yourself if you do this. Are you sure you can trust the Azure Empire's crown prince and his plans?"

The emperor's secretary asked in a worried voice. 

As the person closest to the emperor, it was his job to care for and advise him. And as usual, he did his job meticulously.

The emperor waved his hand casually and said it was fine.

As much as the secretary wanted to interfere, he knew that he had no right to do that. The emperor had made his decision.

Before using his powers, the emperor looked toward his door in anticipation.

The secretary had been with the emperor long enough to understand what was happening.

"It looks like Duke Victor has decided to visit us after all. I will prepare to carry out your orders, enforce a lockdown, and deal with the Duke."
