Bab 236: 236: Escaping the Imperial Palace

"Where are we? Ugh, my head hurts. What the hell did I drink? Was my drink spiked?"

Sui wanted to rub her head, but her hands felt heavy and tied behind her back. 

Her body also felt out of balance, and Sui tried her best to wake up. But a fog covered her mind, making it too challenging for her to think.

"Ahhh, we are both going to get out. My child will be acknowledged. It is a good day, so don't overthink about it."

Concubine Hwasa seemed to be struggling to keep up with what was happening. She was also babbling bullshit.

Sui's mind might not be working correctly, but she was sure that Concubine Hwasa was not acting as she usually did.

"C-Concubine Hwasa, what did you mix in my drink?"

Sui asked while trying her best to keep herself awake.

Whatever substance had been mixed in her drink was working in intervals. Sui often woke up like this, and then her body was forced to sleep.
