Bab 103: 103: Take us to your king

Sui had heard about the Akasha slum before but had never seen it before.

This was the place where most of the slaves ended up once they were thrown out of the Imperial Palace.

So, among the slaves and the lowest-class servants, this place was akin to hell, and no one wanted to end up here.

The air in the slum was stale, and the atmosphere was grave.

Sui's instincts kept her alert of all and any danger around her.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw many people watching her and the princess, and many of these individuals looked threatening.

"Are you afraid, Sui? I've heard that the slaves were often threatened to be thrown in here if they failed to perform well."

After silence, the princess finally spoke, and Sui was grateful for this distraction.
