The sound of the water rushing from the fountain, the clear morning breeze that still had a whiff of dew in it, and the peaceful sound of nature that surrounded him were all supposed to calm him down while he waited for an answer, but instead, he paced around remembering the dinner they had here on New Year's.

The time seem to drag on and on, every second ticking by slowly.

It was a pain.

Suddenly, he moved at an insanely fast pace, turning right into the palace and rushing up the stairs.

What was he thinking?!

He couldn't just stay here and expect her to come to him! He had to be there with her, convincing her that coming with him was the right option. Clara wasn't strong enough when it came to her parents, he was supposed to be there with her, fighting them with her!

What was he thinking leaving her all alone?

He couldn't even imagine a life without her!
