Bab 124: Chapter 123 - The Librarian(s)

She grabbed a thick robe around her clumsily and headed for the door.

Whatever it was, she had to see the Librarian once again. Somehow Diamant believed that would provide her with an answer. Maybe the Librarian would remember more of the witch that had come to see her.

Unfortunately she would have to take those long stairs, she wouldn't be able to use the passageway because she didn't have the specter.

The moment her hand held the door handle though, a wreaking tiredness took over her and she collapsed.

"Fatigue...chronic." Doctor Bradwin said, his eyes on Diamant who laid in bed with her eyes shut tight.

The burning candles lit Diamant's room, it smelt of medicines.

"Will she be alright?" Aaron, who sat by her side, asked. His hand gently grasped Diamant's.

"Of course." Doctor Bradwin said confidently, packing up his box. "She just needs a lot of rest."
