"it's a rose for Damon's Rose"

"A rose for My Rose" he cooed close to her ear, and God help her, she was feeling guilty as hell, but then as much guilt she felt, she also had the same measure of selfishness. She wanted him by her side for eternity, and if keeping her little secret to herself was the only way to do so, then that was exactly what she was going to do.

She wasn't going to let her guilt stop her from loving him. He was too sweet to leave. She loved his every word. She was selfish, this was an established fact. It was wrong to be selfish, but she wanted to be selfish one more time. If it was the only way to keep him forever. 

"A rose for Me" she repeats his words, her fingers still playing on his name that was inscribed on the pendant. "it's beautiful" she finally gave the kind of comment that he wanted to hear. 

"You like it? She couldn't see him, but his face was widely lit up expecting her reply.
