Bab 4: Double-Dealing
"Utter fool... That's what I was for trusting her..." Mazoku claimed to look down after remembering the past. "My mother hurt me in the worst way possible. Attached to this hideous anathema and I was merely a vehicle for it's the pernicious path of the massacre. I only returned after a soon amount of years waking up in the carcass where the demon was covered in blood and it's dismantled flesh burning."
The girl interrupted him saying "Apologies but you mean someone killed that monster? How is it still there?"
He sighed turning to her, "If you didn't interrupt me then you would've known that whatever this is... is some form of the devil is inhabiting this creature: it cannot die no matter what happened. Trust me I've tried."
"You don't mean-" Mazoku interjected "I did. Every time I'm in this body... I feel a hell flame overcome my accursed soul. I human like me aren't meant to be in this vice." She looked at him with exasperation "I see, you got sad because you had a new participant in, from what I see, a small house. I don't know whether this was worth the rabbit."
She smiled in a condescending way towards him. "I guess I told you enough now..." He stopped looking at her waiting for her name.
She rolled her eyes towards him and paused then said "Call me Daichi if you wish and I think I've heard of you Mazoku... Quite a bounty, you can say?" She said revealing the bow she had during the discussion pointing at Ankoku smirking while he scowled at her not moving.
"I guess kindness only brings malice back from others." He gritted his teeth as she pulled the bow. Her finger pulled onto it until she released it letting the arrow go aiming at him...

Akari walked across the fields on his stallion his eyes, unexpressive golden suns, searching for any signs of the demon and where he's gone.
He crouched down to look at the hole which he escaped into and then said: "That's quite idiotic of you all..." Behind him were a group of ninjas as the leader held a sai to his neck.
"Mazoku will be our hunt Akari... I advise you to leave now and let us go get him..." He leapt into the sky leaving the escaping from the trap and then plummeted to attack the ninja clan slamming a galvanic strike to the ground leaving a steaming crater where he stood alone until, as the clouds vanished away, the ninjas leapt out of the clouds cavorting in ultimately rapid speeds.
Akari soared towards them slicing the leader's chest but to his shock found out that there it went through him without connection as the body started to move so fast he became fully intangible.
"My movements are so fast that I can become incorporeal while at this. My fighters too can perform this highly, mighty and complex exertion. Now Akari would suggest you left but now you can be a warm-up for us..." He laughed as he and the other ninjas dashed to Akari. He looked at the enemies blitzing towards him wondering whether he'll survive.
