Bab 107: 107 – The Black Night

Despite her condition, the fairy's movements are so sharp and fast. I was the one who had to dodge first instead of landing attacks.

She kept trying to claw at me, but I kept dodging. Yes, my body can't feel pain, but that doesn't mean I can let my guard down.

Her strikes could have a harmful effect on me. However, I can't go on like this. Sooner or later, I have to strike back at her.

So, I decided to kick that being in the stomach, forcing her to roll backward.

As I was about to make a follow-up attack, I felt my leg get stuck. When I looked down, I found that my ankles had been entangled by the fibrous roots of the corn plants.

I can easily escape. Unfortunately, my reaction was too late. The fairy had already jumped at me.

I groaned when she managed to claw my chest, causing five long wounds there. Even so, I saw an opportunity. I punched her in the face as hard as I could, making her fall again to the ground.
