Bab 13: Part 13 – Hope Sprouts

Prologue

A Young night. A wind blew through the wasteland, roaring all the way, and it whipped up dust on the way. Dead trees were projecting up from the ground here and there. Millions of stars shined in the sky and the moon stared down at the land with its maximum intensity

Moans came from here and there. Then a group of creatures came into view. They were moving towards the city growling all the way. Some of the creatures screeched sharply, frequently. Before long the creatures reached the city. City sky was filled with flying humans (or angels) and some time the angelic beings came down and snatched some creatures from here and there and they flew away into the distance like an eagle snatching chicks from the mother.
