The remaining two spirit horses clearly realized that their companions had been trapped, and, after a sound of anxious neighing, their speed suddenly increased by quite a bit.
However, the surrounding smoke had already spread, and finally one of the spirit horses could not escape and was engulfed by the rolling smoke, struggling a few times before helplessly collapsing.
The other one was luckier and managed to leap out as a streak of white light, just before the grey smoke closed in, after forcefully kicking off the ground with its hind hooves. However, the direction in which it ran was straight towards Liu Ming.
This spirit horse apparently mistook Liu Ming for one of the hunters and suddenly opened its mouth, spouting seven or eight green wind blades each several feet in size, which furiously shot towards Liu Ming.
Liu Ming frowned and suddenly several black tentacles emerged from his body. With a light flick, he swept away all the wind blades.
