Bab 131: ONE HUNDRED AND THIRTY ONE

When did it get so out of control, one minute l was trying to help Darke and the next l am public enemy number one. He knows that l would choose anyone over him, no less a man. I was at odds with Darce before this whole thing, why would l choose to be on his side when he hurt me as well with his actions

But l won't allow myself to take the blame for something l didn't do, nor will l place any blame on him for reacting the way he did because in his head he feels like he was justified. I would have felt the same too but that was so unlike Darke, he usually tries to reason in a situation, could it be the heart ache that is making him act out of character?

And as if it couldn't get any worse, he has been trying his best to avoid me. But that seems like such a job considering that we stay under the same roof. He avoids coming out of his room whenever l am not in mine, he never has dinner with the family. This has been driving my mother crazy but he doesn't seem to care.
