Bab 89: EIGHTY NINE

It came as a surprise to me that Hilden wanted to talk but most of all it scared me. My fear was justified given what l had heard in their meeting room or whatever that was

So imagine my surprise when he decided to confess everything that he was hiding from. I had no idea what had prompted him to come clean and l couldn't even ask him about him or else he would know that l knew something 

Or maybe he wouldn't and l was just overthinking everything. I knew that he wouldn't do anything to physically harm me or Akai because he loves his daughter and his daughter loves and needs me 

That was my security. Now l just had to find a way to dissappear without any heads turning in my direction. Many might call me a coward for running but l wasn't about to let Akai grow up with either of her grandparents 

Knowing what l know now, l don't know how l had trusted them before. Who knows what they had done to my child when l wasn't in their presence
