"Elder Fin really has sides with the werewolves," Pyke said with an unknown look.

"He has sided with the winning side," Rebus whispered back to him. 

Ambai just glanced at them both curiously. "Rebus, is there going to be a war again?" she worriedly mumbled.

"Don't worry there won't be," Rebus whispered not glancing back.

But Pyke, who was next to him, could feel the deathly stare he had. "How did you know we were there?"

"I followed her scent," Rebus said with a wide smirk.

"How did you manage to get her scent? Did you go to her original home or did you invade the coven?"

"Why are you asking so many unwanted questions," Rebus glared at him sideways.

Pyke'e eyes went cold. "Because I heard from the waitress that the coven was attacked and that almost hundreds of the newest generation vampires had died."

"What!" ambo leaned forward with her eyes blown wide. "What do you mean? Someone killed vampires."
