Rukle hurriedly left the room, leaving behind a completely baffled Eru. "How is she connected to the demons!! Dad wait" he ran after him but he could not even catch his shadow. Only his master stood silently out the door as he tugged his sleeve softly. "What's going on master..."
"Your highness has gone to apprehend the criminal, little prince," he said as a matter of fact.
"But...." as he was saying this, his father forcefully dragged her out the room. Her hair tussled and completely messed up and her face wet with tears. Accidentally, she glanced his way.
"you!! it's because you, you vermin. Why didn't you die back then? Why did you live every single time!! Ahhhh why are you that bitch's son!!" she shrieked.
"Enough!" Rukle yanked her away by her hair. "Tell me, who you have sent after my wife,"
"Why... why should I tell you, huh? I want her to die. I want her to be shredded to pieces and her remaining corpse to be scavenged by the wolves," she laughed manically. Strangely, she brought her clenched fist to her mouth.
Eru noticed this and shouted, "Dad, she has something in her hand,"
Rukle immediately pried her tight fingers away and found a small glass vial inside. It was completely silver with a black sheen to it. "Don't even think about dying, such an easy death is not what you deserve," he yanked her hands behind him and tied them up.
"You... all of you will burn. Eh demons and Lijin are coming, the will kill you all. And I will watch it with my own eyes," she smirked, watching Eru particularly.
Erudite gulped and stepped back. His father dragged her out and to his guard, who was waiting with his mount. He swiftly got on and pulled her up as well. "Wait," he glanced back at Eru, "don't fret so much, I will save your mother and come back. Stay safe, Eru," he smiled softly.
"No one is safe hahaha, everyone is going to burn. Especially you prince e...." Rukle plucked an apple in her mouth and gagged her.
"We will get going now, Lumian take acre of my kid," the griffin soared high, leaving behind a gust of wind.
Eru and Lumian watched this with an unknown look in their eyes. "Master, if there is a war, would you participate as well?"
"It's not my duty, but I will personally give my life for your father, I'm indebted to him," Lumian whispered.
"Then why don't you follow him. I can stay here with rebus. You can protect my father..."
"He can take care of himself. My only duty is to protect and train you," Lumian said curtly and walked back into the house.
Sighing, Eru followed after him. Rebus stood by the doorway with a casual look in his eyes. "Didn't expect you would reveal her identity," he whispered softly next to his ear.
Eru gripped his hand and pulled him back to his room. After closing the door, he whispered, "It was time they knew. Or else they might have been in grave danger,"
"I know little prince, but you made so many silly mistakes in your confession." Rebus shook his head disappointedly.
"Huh, what?"
"First of all, how did you know of the term shadow demon? If your father asked you, would you have had to reveal my identity as well," he said tsking softly.
Eru's eyes went wide. "Oh, shit yeah. I should have stuck with dark shadow. God, now what? What of father comes back for more answers?"
"I don't know. You have to learn to lie a lot better," rebus pulled him over to his lap. "Even so, I'm happy that your father approved of us,"
"Did you eavesdrop the entire time," Eru gave him a wooden look.
"I was listening openly. Even your father was aware of it," he said with a wide smirk.
"You silly devil," Eru slapped his shoulder and smirked.
A lone hawk watched this from the trees. Seeing as its master has been apprehended, it flapped its wings and flew over to its home.
Flying miles away, it rested on an elaborately decorated balcony. It screeched loudly, startling the inhabitant of the room.
A man in spectacles ran out and gazed at the hawk with a smile. "You are back. What news do you bring this time?" he checked its legs, but it was empty. A bad premonition rose in his heart. Trembling softly, he took the hawk in his hands. "you... you better fly away.. Don't come back. Highness will kill you for sure," he gestured for it fly back but it stubbornly stood there waiting for food.
Sighing, he had no other way but to take it to his highness. Knocking on the study room, he nervously waited.
The door opened slowly by a guard from inside. "What is it?"
"I have news for his highness,"
"He has requested us to deny anyone,"
"But this is important. Its news from Miriafa," he urgently said.
The guard hesitated and went back in after two minutes he was allowed in.
Trembling, he slowly trotted in.
"What news," a gruff voice said from ahead.
"Your highness, forgive my sin" he knelt and bowed, banging his head on the floor.
"I asked you what news,"
"Bad news, very bad news. Our spy has been apprehended," he shouted with tears in his eyes.
"what!!" the chair loudly screeched on the hardwood floor as Lijin stood up suddenly. He ran over to his messenger and gripped his shoulder. "Who and all?"
"All of our spies....."
"All of them!!! Those useless critters. I trained them so hard for many years and this is the result. Even these bitches failed," he glared to the side at the beautiful blond woman. "You, you said you trained them personally. Why the hell did they fail, huh!!!" he gripped her top and pulled her closer.
"Your highness, I have trained them to my maximum capability," the Aaorlin said with her head lowered.
"You bitches, I never should have believed you in the first place. Call for a meeting we are going to war now," he shouted anxiously.
After a ground-breaking meeting, he tiredly walked back to his room. "These bastards, why won't they accept my command? You kill those who apposed of my idea," he said to the blond Aaorlin.
"Your highness, they are loyal entourages of our kingdom. We can't kill then without a reason," she whispered.
"HEED MY COMMAND!! Kill them and burn them. Make it seem like! an accident fire. Do something, anything!!" he shouted and slammed the door behind him. He leaned against the door and sighed, 'all because I don't have the royal seal, when I get a hold of it... I will destroy them all!' he walked over to the prepared bath.
He removed his clothes and pulled back the separation screen.
"You know to come back now." a gruff voice whispered softly.
Lijin immediately knelt down. "Master!!! I have done wrong, my lord. Please forgive me!" he cried, banging his head on the floor.
"hmm," the blond man inside the tube gently scrubbed his milk like skin. "What did you do wrong, Lijin? I gave you immense power, wealth and even the crown, yet you fail to fulfill the only promise you made Me." he got up. Water dripped down his toned body out into the floor. "I am so disappointed,"
"Master, I swear on my life I will kill them. I will kill that brat Eru and prince Deric. Please... please give me another chance," he cried desperately.
"hmm," the blond man wore his clothes slowly, glancing at the old man bowing. "That's why I hate human kind. They make mistakes and act all pitiful. What will you do if I give you another chance, huh?"
"I shall kill them!!!"
"I see," the blond walked over to the window sill and looked out into the peaceful world. "Do you know how much effort it took for me to bring her here again? I had to beg my superior to give me another chance... just like you,"
Lijin did not understand most of his words, but he remained quiet and watched this godly man. One day ten years ago he appeared before and gave him immense powers and strength. With that, he was able to finally get the throne as well. "I am forever indebted to you master, so I shall definitely not let you down this time,"
The blond man hummed. "I have restored my full strength. Make an identity for me so that I can get close to Prince erudite again. And don't make me a grandpa for goodnes's sake that body was as useless as a bag of bones."
He curiously glanced at the bustling city. "Erudite, or should I call you Nyx. I am coming for you, my darling. We shall see how your pretty neck escapes my grasp now," he laughed happily.
