Bab 395: Dick adventures

Dick Miggins had arrived at the capital. 

There were a lot of demons just roaming around. 

People weren't celebrating, and they certainly weren't in a great mood. 

A lot of people- civilians, farmers, and anyone who could fight had to go to war. Some volunteered, while others were dragged in. This was true for most of the cities. Only the border cities which refused got out the easy way. Or rather they were obliterated. 

Of course- one city still made it out- and of course, no one had any idea of knowing about it, at least not yet. 

Dick went straight for the palace. 

It wasn't heavily guarded, but there was someone there- someone powerful. 

Just going past the entrance, Dick met that someone. 

His mentor. 

The first Monarch- Sorain.

"Oh, if it isn't Mig. I heard you got caught." He preferred to stay in the shadows… but he had to occasionally walk in sunlight.
