I smiled. "You really don't need to give him face, he won't find out about it anyway."

Mai Qi stomped her foot.

Ye Qian came to negotiate. "Alright, Mai Qi, stop being so petty. It's fate that you guys are arranged in the same dorm, you should try to get along. Nanxing, Mai Qi is the only daughter of her family so we usually dote on her. Don't mind her too much."

What does that have to do with me? I am obliged to her will too?

Ye Qian stepped forward to pull my hand. "Since this is fate's arrangement, how about we go out for dinner together with our friend?"
