At first, Penny was concerned about the young girl's lack of knowledge regarding the full scope of what was transpiring, unlike her own awareness. However, Sister Jera proved to be wonderful company, constantly engaging in conversation and sharing her opinions as they endeavored to determine who had cast the spell. Their challenge, though, was the absence of knowledge about the identity of the white witches responsible for the spell.

Fortunately, the watch continued to function, and they became aware of the swift passage of time - they had spent five hours trapped in the mirrored enclosure. This led Penny to wonder whether the spell had been cast solely upon them, or whether it affected every participant of the examination.

The weather remained unaltered, the dullness of the overcast sky matched by the dampness underfoot.

It was then that Penny noticed a fleeting shimmer in the periphery of her vision, prompting her to halt.
