Everyone was shocked. No one had seen the loud slap coming. 

Yue Mei recoiled, her hand flying to her stinging cheek. Anger warred on her face as she struggled to find her voice. "Xia Lihua, who knew you could be this vicious! I will—"

Seeing that Yue Mei was about to scratch Xia Lihua with her long nails Yang Lingyun grabbed her by the back of her neck and forcefully pushed her aside.
