"Hmm…" Rui Ye mused. "Are you sure? Your fellow angels don't seem to agree too much with you." 

Far from being agreeable, they were ready to convict Kalliēl of his audacity and recklessness. Some even beseeched His Lordship to mete out punishment upon him, citing that Heaven would be thrown into imbalance if he were to be let loose. 

Kalliēl was aware that his action was unpardonable, and hence he strived to whisk Rui Ye away as soon as the little mortal gave his approval. He was certain that as long as he had Rui Ye safely tucked beneath his wings, no one would dare to confront him anymore.

Because Rui Ye was not just anyone. He was the prophesied angel-to-be. Furthermore, he would then be under the holy seraphim Kalliēl's protection. Those who sought trouble with them were simply fools.
