Bab 48: Chapter 48

Bastian was waiting for Twyla when she got back to her room after dancing with Raven.

"Good day, King Sebastian," Twyla greeted, overly formal. She even threw in a bow.

"Ah, I heard Raven told you that you were to call me by my title outside the castle."

"HOW! I just left her?"

"I have my ways," Bastian purred, his eyes darkening. Twyla's pulse sped up. "But we aren't outside the castle, are we?"

"No…"

"And that bow was… sketchy at best…"

"And?"

"I think you might need to be taught a lesson," Bastian purred, fangs lengthening. 

Twyla nearly came right there.

"I should tell Raven that you need curtsey lessons," Bastian said and he straightened. His fangs retracted and he smirked at Twyla. 

Twyla's mouth fell open. How dare he play with her like that?

"You wouldn't dare?" she hissed.

"It is vital that you receive all the training that you need."

Twyla ground her teeth. Bastian's smirk grew.
