Bab 7: Training Arc - 1
Entering the Folkvangr mansion, Ottar didn't waste any time and directly lead Kai, to his private Training Ground.
The Training Ground was huge, It was an inside training facility. Ottar slowly walked to the center of the ground and looked at Kai.
"From today onward, Until the next three years, I shall train you myself, Your Only goal in these three years is to train your abilities, and to make me admit that you are ready to start as an adventurer", Ottar reveals an evil smile.
I have a bad feeling about it, Thought Kai as he looked at the smiling Ottar.

Code didn't answer but just started giggling, Meanwhile, Ottar threw a sword towards Kai and gestured him to pick it up.

Getting the new task, Kai was happy as he saw the reward but after seeing the limitations and task, the reward seems too small to him.
How hard can it be, Kai thought as he tighten his grip on the sword and then looked at Ottar, He asked me so it's not my fault.
Kai quickly dashed toward the center while swinging his sword at Ottar, Seeing Kai's confidence, Ottar smirked and block the blow with his forearm and immediately struck a punch at Kai's abdomen, sending Kai flying for more than 100 meters and smashing on the wall with a loud bang.
Kai immediately fall unconscious and dropped to the ground.
"I think I overdid", Ottar scratched the back of his head and then slowly walked towards Kai.
He bend down and checked Kai, "He is just unconscious, I thought I killed him", Ottar let out a relieved sigh.

A girl with long light red hair tied in two ponytails entered the room and quickly rushed toward Kai. She is a beautiful girl but has dead-looking eyes due to being constantly exhausted from doing her work.
She was wearing a red and white apron dress, which bears the Freya Familia emblem on her shoulder, and looks similar to a nurse outfit. Her name is Heith Velvet, She is 10 years old and has recently reached level two and gained healing magic, and became a healer in Freya familia.
[Author's Note: Heith Velvet is not an OC, she is originally a healer in Freya familia(Source of information - Light novel), but there are not much information about her, So I have to add and make some changes in her Character ]
"8 Broken ribs and several minor injuries", Heith reported to Ottar and quickly cast a heal spell on Kai.
I really Overdid, Thought as he nodded and looked at the unconscious Kai lying on the ground.
"Tell him to come early tomorrow, when he wakes up", said Ottar as he left the training ground.
Meanwhile, Heith nodded and continued casting her healing spell on Kai,
After some time Kai gained consciousness, as he opened his eyes and was greeted by a red hair girl, sitting beside him.
Kai didn't say anything as he stared at the ground and remained silent, He can't remind anything except the punch and Horrible pain he felt for a few seconds in his abdomen.
" You are awake", Heith stood up and continued, " Big Brother Ottar, ask you to go back and come early tomorrow".
She left the ground after delivering the message to Kai. While Kai looked at the girl's back and was confused, Who was she again?
After a few minutes, Kai stood and asked, "What's the time code".

I have more two Hours left, Kai thought as slowly walked to the center and recall his memories of the "Thunder breathing technique" and started practicing

Two hours later, Kai was standing at the center of the ground while holding a sword in his right hand, he was drenched in sweat, he had a sad expression on his face.
In the two hours' time, Kai tried his best but he was unable to perform the basic of the breathing technique property, he made mistakes every few seconds, the most he can maintain the technique is for 10 seconds, while practicing sword movements.
" It will require more training", sighed Kai, as he left the training room, outside the door, he was greeted by Heith. She was observing Kai as Kai didn't leave the training ground and Ottar asked her to take care of Kai.
"Sorry for using the training room for so long", Kai smiled at her, as he scratched his head and bowed to thank her for healing him.
Heith smiled at Kai and said," My name is Heith, nice to meet you".
"I am Kai, nice to meet you too", Kai introduced himself. They didn't talk much as it was already late and Kai was very hungry
Exiting the Folkvangr mansion, Kai quickly rushed to the Babel tower.
Arriving on the top floor, Kai went inside, He saw Ottar standing beside the throne. Seeing Kai, Ottar has deadpan look on his face, Actually, at the moment he was getting scolded by Freya, for almost killing Kai while training.
What's going on, thought Kai as he approached the throne, and said," Freya-sama I am back".
"Ohh, Little Kai is back", said Freya as he stood up and waved her hand, gesturing Kai to come closer.
Kai nodded and approached her, Freya sat down on the throne while making Kai sit on her lap and hugged him tightly.
"have you eaten something", asked Freya as she rubbed her cheeks on Kai's, she knew what Kai was doing the whole day.
"Not yet Freya sama", said Kai.
" Hmmm", Freya paused as she glared at Ottar and continued, "How was the training Kai".
Hearing the question, Ottar has an uneasy expression, while Kai reveal a bright smile and replied, "It was fun Freya sama".
Kai did enjoy the training, even though he was almost half-dead, He ultimately enjoyed the feeling of thrill and excitement to fight Ottar and his increasing desire to grow stronger.
Freya smiled and looked at the view outside, While Ottar looked at Kai and reveal a proud smile.
The boy is not normal, to take a blow from me and to say he enjoyed it, Ottar laughed inwardly.
