"Haaaa…. What should I do today?" I say laying on my couch with a bored look on my face as I didn't have anything to do.
Today was Saturday all my homework was done, I had finished the first volume of Crazy Crazy Love and had it Emailed to Monthly Shonen GonGon, I could keep working on them both but I need a genuine break from it all.
"You know what? I'm going out…. I kinda want to go out with Serenity but I need to get something to suppress her poisonous body before I bring her around out in public with me." I say to myself as I shake my head.
Serenity wasn't around right now as she was surveying the city in search of any potential threats to my life that may become a problem so she could deal with it both quickly and promptly.
You just need to have those off days and relax, I mean since my metabolism increased to a normal persons now I won't gain as much weight if I eat fast food every once in awhile, and with my new bloodline so long as I believe in myself and put in the effort I know for a fact that I'll lose the weight needed even if I just constantly only ate unhealthy foods and never worked out I would still lose weight and get buff, that's how broken the power of Spiral energy is when I let it flow throughout myself.
"Well let's just hit the town, maybe there's something good to get at the supermarket, and if not there's always WcDonald's if nothing else." I say as I pull myself off the couch and go out of the house to hit the town.
"Hmmm, maybe I should get a biker's license, oh wait I think the shop can give me one if I pay for it, and it will be 100% legit, and besides I had motorcycle experience in my old life anyway…. Probably wait until I lose more weight before I do that." I mutter to myself as I lock up my apartment and head down to the street before wandering around town.
'There aren't anything that is familiar so far, just regular shops, nothing is really sticking out.' I think to myself as I just wander around aimlessly as nothing of note is popping up.
Maybe if I went to Akihabara there would be people from various series and recognize them or if I went to rich and affluent neighborhoods I'd meet certain characters that way, or looked up to see special locations that only specifically exist in their respective series like towns or cities.
'Well I know Fuyuki is real in this world so the Fate verse is in this world most likely exists here, but it seems the fifth Holy Grail War has already happened based upon info I have looked up, I wonder if Shirou is still alive or has he already died as an 'hero' in the Middle East' but that wasn't to important as I had access to my own personal version of the Throne of Hero's if i so choose.
"Hmmm, maybe I should get a snack or something." I mumble to myself as I head into a supermarket to see what treats they are selling.
"Oooo coffee jelly! I've heard this is delici-" I say before coming to a stop as my eyes widen at who I see who was also looking at the coffee jelly with a smile on his face.
Pink hair, sunglasses, antenna devices on his head, there's only one person that fits that description is but one guy and one guy alone.
'Wait is that Saiki? Oh shit why did I think that?!' And as soon as I thought that I saw Saiki turn to look at me as he squinted his eyes beneath his sunglasses.
"'Do I know you?'" He 'said' to me, but he was just talking to me telepathically but if I wasn't now so magically inclined and a Spiral human I would have perceived his telepathy as him talking with his mouth instead.
I shook my head no, 'No this is the first time we have met in person, but to say I haven't known of you would be a lie, I mean we're both similar in some ways so meeting each other would be said to be a sort of fate.' I said to him through my thoughts.
"'….'" He didn't say anything but his eyes squinted at me, but before things could get worse I went and grabbed the most expensive coffee jelly on sale as I looked at him.
'Let's make a truce, I know I seem suspicious but how about I buy this for you and we just chat with each other as I honestly wasn't expecting to meet you here today' I say through my thoughts as he listened in.
He looked at what I had and he visibly Gulped as the coffee Jelly which was worth 2999¥ looked really good so he nodded, "'Alright, let's talk, after I taste this tasty looking coffee jelly I'll hear you out.'" He took my bribe before we headed to the checkout before we went to a nearby WcDonalds to chat.
We took a small corner booth and let Saiki pull out the fancy coffee jelly while he ate it with a smile on his face, while I casually cast a bounded field and 'ignorance is bliss' as I liked to call it as it made anyone else who saw us completely ignore us and only would see us talking about random things then what we really were talking about.
But Saiki, being as sensitive as he is to the strange he is, looked up and squinted his eyes as he looked at me, "'What did you just do?'"
"Nothing really, just made it so the people here would completely ignore us while we chat, we don't need anyone coming to bother us while we talk." I'm not worried about talking about this with Saiki as I know he would keep silent about talking to anyone about this as it would put his identity as a psychic on the line, and even if the whole world learned about magic it wouldn't effect me like it would with other Magus's due to the disappearance of Mysteries in the world.
"So let me introduce myself, I am Hifumi Yamada, The Next Ultimate Mangaka going to Hopes Peak Academy, author of Food Wars, and a Magus." I say, but the latter part got ignored by Saiki as his eyes widened when he heard Food Wars.
"'Your the author of Food Wars?!'" He said with genuine shock in his voice as it was his newest favorite manga that he got to see come out as some of the few things Saiki loves in life is delicious food, and not only that but my manga somewhat gives the process to actually make the food that the characters in the story make, so Saiki being a foodie really enjoyed reading my manga.
Maybe it will be easier to talk to him then I thought.
