Bab 99: Chapter 99 : Foiling Xie Jianshen's Plan

After the heavenly troops safely returned to the Heavenly Realm, the Heavenly Emperor gave three days' leave to everyone in order to recuperate. Some with heavier injuries were told to stay home until they recovered.

"A tragic loss," so most people remarked. "But the Empress is still young. It is not too late to have another baby."

Xie Jianshen scoffed at the remark. The Empress had the choice to give birth to her child and then atone for her sins, but she chose to kill her child and save her skin instead.

In his opinion, the woman did not deserve to be a mother at all.
