Medic Hong was a seasoned physician who had recently relocated to Rainbell Town. He had initially planned to stay only for a few months, as he enjoyed wandering from town to town to broaden his horizons and knowledge.

However, Medic Hong soon found himself drawn to the eerie cases that seemed to be prevalent in Rainbell Town. He had never seen anything like them before. There were patients who complained of hearing voices in their heads, seeing visions of the dead, and even being possessed by spirits.

Although most of these eerie cases required the help of local priests or exorcists, Medic Hong was still able to observe them practice their expertise and thus learned a great deal from them.
