"Because he's just a child?"

"He's my nephew," Xie Jianyu emphasized. "He cares a lot for me. Naturally, I also care a lot for him."

Zhang Fengxi sighed.

"That is not what I want to hear," he complained openly. "You are not supposed to care for another alpha apart from me."

Xie Jianyu gave Zhang Fengxi a kiss on the cheek.

"I love you," he whispered. "Therefore, please be kind to Muchen."

It almost sounded like he would stop loving Zhang Fengxi if Zhang Fengxi decided to be unkind to Jiang Muchen.
